Week of the Wedding Shower - Odds & Ends

Throughout the house I took several glass containers (from pitchers to vases) and filled them with white sand and sea shells or starfish. The sign in book was put on its own table with a white runner and custom made tag.

The theme centered around the beach due to the fact that the bride was having a destination wedding. It also centered around the white-on-white theme. This was a challenge... how many white foods could I find? The foods pictured are mentioned in the captions.

Week of the Wedding Shower - Invitation

This week I want to show you a shower I threw last fall for one of my best girlfriends. The invitation set was the first item on my to-do list. The silhouettes are truly hers and her fiance's. The picture at the top features the 5x7 invitation (front & back), a thank you note and the front and back of the envelope label. The lower picture are the thank you notes I wrapped up and gave to the bride along with a second set of mailing labels.
